Unit 9: The weather !!!

The weather is a very popular topic of conversations in Britain. 56% of all the days in Britain are overcast- dull grey and often cold.
When the weather is good, people complain that it's too wet. When it isn't sunny, they say it's too cold.
In winter it's cold and wet but doesn't often snow. Spring is from March to May. The summer months are June, July and August, when it can be very hot.
Scientist at the Met Office makes weather forecasts fro the public and for special purposes- militars, shipping, arlines and manny others.

Unit 8: Reading !!!

British people read a lot. They read books, newspaper and of course they read text message on mobile phone. 65% of British people lies reading as a mejors hobby. And in libraries people borrow books, CDs, DVDs of films and television progames and some libraries even let you borrow computer games.
Libraries are very important in schools and universities both for study and for reading por pleasure.

Unit 7: British sports !!!

Even more people spend part of the weekend watching sport, specially football. From August to April footvall is everywhere.
The top level of the game progessional football in the Premiership. We went to training session with a Premiership team from South East London, Charlton Athletic.
Cricket is the main summer sport in Britain. Local teams play in towns and villages every saturdayand Sunday from April to September.

Tennis is another popular sport, specially in the summer after the famous Wimbledon Championships. There are tennis courts all over Britain.
Other populas sports is golf, swimming, cycling, keep fit and walking.
